Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish Flamenco and pop artist from Spain. As a singer, she has played in the margins of both traditional and popular music from her early teens, she plays in other genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, yet full of the intensity and abrasions of more experienced singers. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. It was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and won a Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami is her third album comprised songwriting collaborations featuring Cory Henry, James Blake along with other artists. In the month of March, 2022, the show was introduced following the SNL's appearance on Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami, Rosalia's album that earned her three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female singer to have an award for Latin Album of the Year get twice.
