Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. She spent most of her childhood listening to music from the past Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic music and old classical pieces. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move into the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
